Sketching Tour in Greece with Ian Fennelly June 2026

Our tour begins at our lovely boutique hotel in Athens with views of the PARTHENON.
Time to arrive before a group dinner tonight and a good rest.
We have two 2 nights in Athens staying in the historic Plaka district and have an introductory sketching workshop with Ian on Day 2.

Day 3
We then take a flight to historic  Lemnos - an isolated nook of the Aegean Sea - staying on this peaceful and scenic island for 5 nights with the fabulous Nikki and Hugh who have made this island their home and host brilliant retreats and stays.

And the cuisine will be superb. Nikki is a chef and sources the freshest and best foods on the island for our meals.
Great accommodation with all facilities and ensuite bathrooms and the best and freshest meals straight from the island in some hidden secret restaurants sourced by our hosts.

We will explore the island sketching in Myrnia's labyrinthine streets, the volcanic rock formations, the port with its bobbing fishing boats, and we will paint the mystic rock formations, caves and wildflowers of this magic island.

Lemnos is a tranquil haven where you can escape the crowds, relax and reconnect with nature in its purest form.

TRAVEL SKETCHING GREEK ODYSSEY -  Small group tour with a maximum of 14 sketchers.

• Our tour begins with dinner upon your afternoon arrival at our ATHENS hotel on May 31: Athens 2 nights staying in our lovely hotel with a heavenly view of the Acropolis. Rooftop welcome dinner together on the first night.
• June 2: Flight to Lemnos (not inc in price but we can book this for you. Price for this will vary depending on availability and your time of booking.)
• Lemnos 5 nights
• June 7: return flight Lemnos to Athens (the tour ends at the Athens airport upon our return today when you are free to make onward travel arrangements) Flight not inc in the tour price.

Ian will be giving 6 daily intensive sketching workshops on this 8 day tour so plenty of opportunity to learn and practise on this beautiful holiday.

We price all our tours in EUROS to accommodate exchange rate fluctuations but you will be paying for your tour in AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS as we are an Australian tour company.

Non-sketcher cost (must be sharing a room with a sketcher) is 2,995 euros

DEPOSIT AMOUNT of $1,000 AUD per person to secure your reservation. 

Final tour payment is due 120 days before travel.
We will invoice you at the time this is due for the correct amount to pay in AUD according to the market rate on that day.

• International flights
• YOUR RETURN FLIGHT from ATHENS to LEMNOS is not included in the tour price.
