Terms and Conditions

A DEPOSIT of $1,000 AUD per person is required at the time of booking
This deposit is  100% refundable (minus any card fees and international transfer costs) upon payment until  240 days before tour departure  date (8 months)
The deposit becomes 50% refundable from 240-150 days (5 months) before travel date.
After this date it is non-refundable.

FULL TOUR PAYMENT IS REQUIRED 120 DAYS before tour commencement date

Cancellation Terms & Conditions

CANCELLATION FEES – If you have to cancel in less than 120 days before tour date commencement your final full payment cannot be refunded. As this is a private small group tour it is important for you to have Travel Insurance to protect yourself against this eventuality as French Fusion Travel cannot provide any refunds after your payment has been made.
Please note refunds are not made for cancellation of any services which are not used by you due to late arrivals, early departures, or by choice.

In the unlikely event that French Fusion Travel cancels your tour we will refund your deposit in full.
Please contact us before booking flights for your tour as we reserve the right to cancel the tour up to 5 months in advance if bookings are insufficient.

TRAVEL INSURANCE WITH CANCELLATION COVER IS MANDATORY ON ALL OUR TOURS TO PROTECT YOU FROM LOSS IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO TRAVEL

Is my tour a DEFINITE CONFIRMED DEPARTURE?

**** All tours are NOT A CONFIRMED DEPARTURE until minimum booking numbers have been reached.
** Look on our FAQ’s tab for each tour to see if your tour has become a confirmed departure.

Please contact us before booking ANY flights for your tour until we have confirmed with you that that bookings are sufficient for the tour to go ahead.

French Fusion Travel Services reserves the right to deviate from the itinerary should circumstances require, and to substitute venues with those of an equal standing or tariff.

French Fusion Travel Services, its employees and agents does not accept any liability whatsoever for the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of those Airlines, coach operators, shipping companies, hoteliers restaurateurs or other persons providing services in connection with your tour pursuant to a contract with them. We do not accept liability in contract or in tort for any accident, injury, damage, loss, delay, irregularity, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any act or event which is beyond our control, or which is not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part including, but not limited to war, civil disturbance, fire, floods, unusually severe weather, acts of God, epidemics, pandemics, acts of Government or of any other authorities, accidents to or failure of machinery or equipment, industrial action (whether or not involving our employees and even though such action may be settled by acceding to demands of a labour group).

TRAVEL INSURANCE is not included in the cost of the tour. We now require our clients to get travel insurance at the time of paying your deposit to protect you against loss of deposit and/or final payment; injury, medical expenses, loss of baggage and personal effects etc.
We also strongly advise all our customers to declare and ensure they are covered for any pre-existing medical conditions in their Travel Insurance Policy.
Some insurance companies will not cover you for loss from border closures due to epidemics and pandemics, for “Acts of God” and other fine print details.

HOLIDAY DURATION – the number of days shown in the itinerary includes the days of ARRIVAL & Departure neither of which is a whole day.

CHANGES IN ITINERARY– French Fusion Travel Services reserves the right to deviate from the itinerary should circumstances require, and to substitute venues with those of an equal standing or tariff.
French Fusion Travel Services, its employees and agents will not be responsible and exclude liability for loss or damage to the tour member outside their control, including but not limited to any act or omission, cancellation, delay, diversion, injury, loss or damage occasioned to the tour member of his/her property by air carriers, accommodation providers, transportation providers or any other providers of services to the tour member.

CHANGES IN EXCHANGE RATE – Please be aware that reservations made so far in advance are based on the current exchange rate. We have therefore priced the tour in the native currency of the country to hopefully protect against any major fluctuations in the exchange rate between this and Australia.

LIABILITY – IMPORTANT: Under the Trade Practices Act and other legislation, consumers have the right to compensation if services are not provided with due care and skill or if services are not reasonably fit for a particular purpose made known by the consumer. This right cannot be excluded. However, French Fusion Travel Services advises you that the services it renders under this agreement are the booking and packaging of services provided by OTHERS, such as restaurants, hotels, certified licensed transporters etc.

FRENCH FUSION TRAVEL does not accept any liability whatsoever for the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of those Airlines, coach operators, shipping companies, hoteliers restaurateurs or other persons providing services in connection with your tour pursuant to a contract with them. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS – Passport and appropriate re-entry visas according to government requirements at the time of travel are required. All pre-travel documentation is the passenger’s responsibility. It should be finalised one month before departure.

HEALTH AND FITNESS FOR TRAVEL – The tour member warrants French Fusion Travel Services that he/she is reasonably healthy and/or fit to participate in the tour and indemnifies FRENCH FUSION TRAVEL SERVICES from all actions, claims and demands arising from any want of health or fitness.  FRENCH FUSION TRAVEL SERVICES reserves the right to terminate the tour member’s participation in the tour should the tour member be too ill or unfit in the opinion of FRENCH FUSION TRAVEL SERVICES to continue the tour.
LAW – The law of this contract is the law of the state of Victoria and, where applicable, to the law of the Commonwealth of Australia. Insofar as it is lawful to do so, FRENCH FUSION TRAVEL SERVICES excludes all liability, if any, to the tour member arising out of the application to this Agreement of Foreign law. The tour member submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of Victorian or Federal Courts in relation to this Agreement.

COSTS NOT INCLUDED IN PRICES SHOWN are visas, insurance, excess baggage, meals apart from those specified, laundry, drinks apart from those specified, items of a personal nature, tips and international departure taxes.
A LATE BOOKING FEE of $100 will apply to all bookings made, confirmed and documented less than two weeks prior to departure from Australia.
