It has been one of the absolute joys of my adult life to join Kate on two of her sketching tours.
Kate and her wonderful sketching tutors are unparalleled in their artistic guidance as well as local historical and cultural knowledge. Kate is intelligent, extremely well informed and witty – and knows all the “ just right” places, making the whole experience not only ‘moment by moment’ incredible but also changes the way you travel! Kate does what slow food did to the food movement… travel (and living) becomes an observational deep dive into architecture, colour, gardens, history and story while expressing your own creativity and growing one’s sketching and painting skill.
Eternally grateful that my darling friend Shelley introduced me to Kate and her wonderful world of travel sketching and watercolour painting!

I’ve been on a number of Kate’s tours & love how well they are organised, how smoothly they run & how much laughter and camaraderie is generated. Learning or adding to our sketching repertoire is totally enjoyable as the itinerary is so varied & well thought out … & fun!
