Travel Journal Workshop Gelprinting November 2024

Join Kate and Jane for a fabulous 2 day  workshop in the historic country town of Maldon in Victoria, Australia, one and a half hours drive North of Melbourne.

Jane Faase, a photographer, a documentary producer, calligrapher and artist will share her knowledge and experience with you on this 2 day workshop.

Jane will show you how to produce a fabulous concertina mini-workbook of images, adding botanicals, calligraphy, collage, old print, vintage prints & old books, papers, stencils, and mixed media using gel plates, acrylic paint and other media.

WORKSHOP COMMENCES Thursday  9 am November 21 : we will meet at our Maldon studio.

The two day workshop will include:

• Simple gelprinting techniques
• How to showcase your travel photos via laser image transfer on the gelplate
• Collaging with maps, old papers, ephemera and more
• Hand lettering for journalling and headings
• Adding colour, texture and pattern with stamps & stencils
