Provence France sketching tour with Ian Fennelly June 2025

June 2-9 in 2025. 
This is a fully-escorted tour with your experienced tour manager and guide Kate Stedman .
Kate is an historian, art lover and avid sketcher and she will take you to her favourite spots and regale you with fun facts and historic gems each day as well. Our tour group will practise covid-safe measures where at all appropriate whilst on tour. We value your health and safety.

ABOUT IAN FENNELLY
Ian studied painting at Wimbledon School of Art and gained a 1st Class Honours degree, is a professional artist whose artwork sells worldwide, has over 100,000 followers on Instagram and is a qualified teacher as well as a senior instructor for Urban Sketchers. • 7 nights (June 2-9 in 2025) in Provence staying in a charming rural hamlet with boutique accommodation with a pool.
  All rooms are air-conditioned and have ensuite bathroom facilities.
  Daily excursions to local sites in the area for sketching and visiting.

We have been taking tour groups to this region for over 20 years.
We stay in a gallo/roman medieval village and our charming hotel is a quiet haven.
Our hotel has its own pool and private garden and views and is right in the middle of the town for easy strolls to enjoy the sites.

Provence is France's land of olive trees, lavender, sunflowers and poppies with little historic cobblestoned villages.

OUR TOUR BEGINS  on JUNE 2 in Avignon at the TGV train station where you will be taken by private bus or taxi transfer to our lovely accommodation for 7 nights. 

• TRAIN: you are free to organise your own travel to Avignon if you would prefer or we can organise for you to take the specified TGV train from Paris down to Avignon where we will meet you.
  Our private coach will be collecting the tour group of June 2 at 2 pm from Avignon TGV train station.
• Our hotel is in the heart of the lovely Petit Luberon Valley in a perched Provencal village. Each room is air-conditioned with lovely views and the hotel has a pool and a garden with stunning views.
• The tour ends on JUNE 9 after breakfast in Villeneuve les Avignon where you are free to organise your own onward travel.
  Our hotel is only a short taxi ride to the Avignon train station if you wish to train to Paris or elsewhere

We have designed this tour to maximise our sketching and exploration time and minimise time travelling in a bus.
Daily excursions will be to local villages, vineyards, towns and historic sites.
The sketching, the markets, the shopping, the cuisine is all BREATHTAKING.
And each afternoon when we return to our hotel, we can relax and continue sketching with a rose wine by the pool or in the dedicated studion on site.

We price all our tours in EUROS to accommodate exchange rate fluctuations but you will be paying for your tour in AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS as we are an Australian tour company.

Non-sketcher cost (must be sharing a room with a sketcher) is 3,200 euros

DEPOSIT AMOUNT of $1,000 AUD per person to secure your reservation. 

Final tour payment is due 120 days before travel. We will invoice you at the time this is due for the correct amount to pay in AUD according to the market rate on that day.
